Vacation Packages
Although the packages offered by different tour operators may vary, generally, a vacation package includes return airfare, accommodation and meal plans based on the type of package you’ve selected:
All Inclusive FCTC or AI
Almost All Inclusive AAI
3 Meals per day 3REP or FAP
2 Meals per day MAP
Breakfast Plan PO or BP
European Plan (No Meals) PE or EP
Hotel Star Ratings
At travelSavingstoday.com we have adapt the rating scale of hotels.com. Hotel ratings should be regarded only as a general guideline designed to assist you in making your lodging decisions. travelSavingstoday.com can not guarantee the accuracy of the ratings.
Five Star – Deluxe – These are hotels that offer only the highest level of accommodations and services. Excellent accommodations, location, extensive facilities and services
Four Star – Superior – An above average resort with high standard of accommodations. These hotels are most often located near other hotels of the same caliber and are usually found near shopping, dining and other major attractions.
Three Star – Moderate – Typically these hotels offer spacious accommodations that include well-appointed rooms and decorated lobbies. Bellhop service is usually not available.
Two Star – Modest – These hotels are usually small to medium-sized with pleasant accommodations. Some hotels offer limited restaurant services. Room service and bellhop service usually not provided.
One Star – Economy – Value hotels. Furnishings and facilities are clean but basic. Most will not have a restaurant on site but are usually within walking distance to some good low-priced dining. Public access, past certain hours, may be restricted.
Hotel Check-in and Check-out
In general, most hotels expect departing guests to vacate rooms by 11AM and arriving guests to check-in after approximately 3PM to allow for cleaning.
Flight and Delays
travelSavingstoday.com encourages you to contact your airline 12 hours prior to departure and again 4 to 6 hours prior to re-confirm your flight departure time. If we are aware of a change every effort will be made to advise you.
Seat Assignment
We will try our best to secure the airline seats that you prefer, not cannot guarantee the outcome.
Baggage Allowance
In accordance with the Transport Canada Carry On Baggage Program, each passenger is permitted only one piece in the cabin and this may be no larger than 9” x 16” x 20” and weigh no more than 5 kgs. Excess will be charged for bags that are excessively heavy (and may need to be checked).
